The oldest working steam train in the world, the Fairy Queen was started its first journey in the year 1855.
The Fairy Queen holds the Guinness World Record because it is the oldest train in regular operation.
Its route on the Howrah-Raniganj line and in Bihar till 1908. In July 1997, the Indian Railway restarted this heritage train from Delhi to Alwar and from there the tourists can see Sariksa Wildlife Sanctuary. The Fairy Queen has only one AC chair car coach, which has capability to accommodate 50 tourists.
It is also has a attached pantry to provide catering services to the passengers.
For the tourist enjoyment many cultural programs are organized on the evening time of the first day.
This train goes through Delhi, Alwar and Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary. The 2 days/1 night package is provided by this train.
